Week 2 – Selling on Marketplaces (2 Hours)
Session 3: Meet your customers on ecommerce marketplaces
Reach millions of ready-to-buy customers by listing your products on the platforms they already use. We'll give you a clear overview of the most popular marketplace options — including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Faire and a handful of niche platforms. The session will cover the culture, audience and workings of different marketplaces — who shops there, how to set up, what it costs to sell, and what types of product pages each platform supports. We'll also look at the online tools available to sellers including promotions, order fulfilment and international selling options.
Session 4: Sell on Amazon – the world’s biggest marketplace
Get to grips with the world's largest online marketplace. We'll cover how to set up your seller account, add your product pages to the Amazon catalogue, and optimise your listings for search. We'll look at how to build your brand presence using Amazon's tools, make use of promotional and advertising features to increase visibility and drive sales, and manage your orders effectively. We'll also cover Amazon's logistics options including FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and how to use Amazon to reach customers across Europe and beyond.
