Session 7: Price for profit

Understanding the true cost of selling your product is the foundation of a profitable online business. We'll work through how to calculate your full cost base including cost of goods, platform fees, postage and packaging, returns and other hidden costs. Learn how to set a price that delivers the margin you need whilst remaining competitive in your market. We'll also cover how to compare your pricing across different sales channels and how to factor in promotions and discounts without eroding your profit.

Session 8: Boost your visibility

Getting your product in front of the right customers takes more than just going live. We'll cover the key strategies for boosting visibility including SEO, paid advertising and social media, with a particular focus on the promotional and advertising tools available within the major marketplaces. We'll look at how to use sponsored listings, deals, vouchers and other marketplace-specific features to drive traffic and sales on an ongoing basis. We'll also cover how to use on-site message tools to reach your customers and followers.
